1. Focus and Scope

Focus:
The Journal of Physical Education and Health Learning focuses on publishing scientific articles from research, theoretical studies, and innovation development in physical education, sports, and health. The main focus of this journal is on learning that supports the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of students through quality physical activities and health education.

Scope:
The scope of this journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • Strategies and learning models in physical education at various educational levels

  • Curriculum development and learning media for Physical Education and Health (PEH)

  • Evaluation of physical education and health learning

  • Game-based and physical activity learning

  • Technological innovations in physical education and health

  • Health education and promotion of healthy lifestyles in school environments

  • Learning adaptations for students with special needs in PEH

  • Sports psychology and motivation in physical activities

  • The relationship between physical activity, fitness, and academic performance

  • Reflective practice and professionalism of PEH teachers

This journal accepts manuscripts from academics, education practitioners, teachers, coaches, and researchers who contribute to the development of theory and practice in physical education and health.

2. Types of Articles Accepted

  • Articles on community service activities (PKM)

  • Community empowerment models

  • Program evaluation of community service

  • Studies on social impacts of community service

3. General Writing Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be written in proper Indonesian or English.

  • Articles must be original works, unpublished, and not under review in other journals.

  • Word count between 4,000–6,000 words (including abstract and references).

  • Manuscripts typed using Microsoft Word, A4 paper size, 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman 12 pt font, margins 3 cm (left), 2.5 cm (top, right, bottom).

4. Article Structure

The article must include the following structure:

  1. Title (maximum 15 words)
    The title should be informative, specific, and reflect the content of the article.

  2. Author Names and Affiliations
    Include full names without academic titles, affiliated institutions, and corresponding email addresses.

  3. Abstract (150–200 words)
    Written in both Indonesian and English, covering objectives, methods, results, and impact of the study.

  4. Keywords (3–5 words)
    Representing the core topics, separated by commas.

  5. Introduction
    Background, objectives, urgency, and relevant literature review.

  6. Methodology
    Describe approach, stages of activity, location, target partners, and evaluation methods.

  7. Results and Discussion
    Describe the outcomes, community involvement, obstacles, solutions, and impact analysis.

  8. Conclusion and Suggestions
    Summary of main findings and recommendations for future activities.

  9. Acknowledgements (optional)
    To parties supporting funding or implementation.

  10. References
    Use APA Style (latest edition). Recommended to use reference managers like Mendeley or Zotero. Minimum 10 references, with more than 60% from journals/scientific publications.

5. Guidelines for Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must have clear captions and be placed near the relevant text.

  • Use Arabic numbering (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.).

  • Figures must have high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
